Liz Letness, REACH regional coordinator/HIT consultant for Minnesota and North Dakota, provides support to ensure electronic health record (EHR) technology is implemented effectively for REACH clients.

The experience you need
Liz has 17 years of experience in leadership and management in the nursing profession. She has led and managed EHR software implementation within long-term care settings and has provided support following implementation in achieving efficient systems for care delivery. Liz has experience in staff development and can offer practical education that staff can easily apply. As nurse manager/director of nursing, she has trained nursing and business office staff to use EHR efficiently and effectively while also focusing attention on patient care.
Liz’s background of implementing quality improvement, clinical nursing practice, policy development, staff supervision and development, community relations, vaccination and infection control program management, long-term care clinical and financial software implementation, and Medicare compliance have given her in-depth understanding of health care, allowing her to assist clients to achieve meaningful use of EHR. REACH clients will benefit from her experience developing work plans that meet the needs of the client as well as redesigning workflow for efficiency.
