The federal government released new deadlines that closed the sign-up window for REACH services on December 1, 2011. However, critical access hospitals (CAH) and clinics with less than ten providers can still register for services as long as funding allows. REACH is federally subsidized and is able to offer no-fee/no-cost services.
If your organization is ready to commit to the meaningful use of an electronic health record (EHR), you should complete the online registration form to request technical assistance through REACH.
When completing the form, you will be asked for the following information:
Once you have gathered this information, we estimate that registration will take you less than 15 minutes.
Completing the form does not commit you to using REACH services. A REACH consultant will use the information to work with you to determine which services are appropriate and what fees will apply. The consultant will also calculate the discount your organization is eligible for. Within a month of receiving your information, a REACH consultant will contact you to discuss your organization’s needs and next steps.
Once you are comfortable with the terms, the REACH consultant will execute a Service Level Agreement—a contract that solidifies the scope of services to be provided and outlines clinician and practice responsibilities, compensation, billing procedures, and general terms.
